We’re delighted to announce several exciting enhancements to our WordPress Hosting platform, aimed at providing users with more control, flexibility, and security. Here’s what’s new:
Key Enhancements:
1. π Password Management Enhancements:
- Password visibility for Site, User, and FTP accounts is now hidden by default, bolstering security measures across the platform.
- FTP accounts now accept strong passwords, ensuring robust authentication protocols for enhanced account protection.
2. π€ User Management Improvements:
- First Name & Last Name fields are now optional when adding or editing a user profile, providing greater flexibility in user data entry.
- Users can include spaces in both First Name and Last Name fields during profile editing, offering more freedom in personalising user details.
3. ποΈ Enhanced Admin User Management:
- To ensure enhanced security and content attribution control, we’ve introduced an added safeguard. Users are now required to assign a new admin user before deleting an existing admin user, ensuring a seamless transition when managing users and their associated content.
4. π Primary Domain Management Simplified:
Users now have the flexibility to designate the “www” domain as the primary domain when adding the root primary domain. This feature streamlines domain management, providing more control and flexibility over your domain configurations.
